repro consoles?

anyone buy a repro center console? are they any good? friend of mine bought a repro for his 69 Camaro and its abosulte garbadge... wondering if the ones made for our dodges were any better

The Dodge pieces are better, Tony's parts has a well made piece. If you want pictures message me and i will supply.

I bought one for my 69 Charger from Classic Industries and was quite disappointed with it. If I was to buy another one, it would be from Tonys Parts. I haven't heard of any negative comments about theirs.

Hunt2elk, i scratch my head how these companies charge so much for these parts and make inferior quality. I guess we were used to far better maid being from US Factories!

Yeah, I don't understand either. I should have sent that console back to Classic, but I wanted to get the car together. Not only that, it already went back once. the first time I got a automatic console in a 4-speed box. How does that happen?
