Reproduction Grilles 70 RR

Been comparing the cost of restoring an 70 Road Runner grille vs a reproduction. I spoke with Richard at Carlisle and he had experience with the OER and Trim Parts grilles with Trim Parts being the nicer of the two. Trim Parts grilles are discontinued though and does not have any left. Vans Auto advertises a nice looking one and I reached out to them and they claim they make it and it is not OER. Anyone use one of these and if so how do thy fit? Thanks

I have my original grille as well as spare parts. I was mainly curious on the quality, fit, and finish of the Vans piece.

I refinished my original, it wasn’t bad at all to do.

JMHO - You didn't ask... but, I'd stick to an original piece even if it needed work or wasn't perfect over a reproduction. Especially if it's the car's grill and you have even the slightest concern over fitment.

I agree and always prefer original over original. Been tough to find non brital pieces with nice stainless. The one Dave posted is a pretty nice looking one.
