Restoring grill

Restoring my 68, soon to be 69 grill I’m not trying to get it to show quality, just wanna give it a refresh to make it look respectable. What’s the best way to attack this? Simply rattle can over it?

I also have some plastic cracks to seal. JB weld? Or a stronger, better option?

SEM adhesion promoter after cleaning with wax and grease remover after scotch brite. I used rattle can and steps above worked for me

First off, I'm confused. You note: "Restoring my 68, soon to be 69 grill"... Uh, the two grilles are different. Are you saying you're trying to make a 68 grille into a 69 grille ?

Oh yeah, picking up one of these cheap on fb marketplace. Not sure what else is involved in the conversion outside of the chrome, but we’re gonna make it happen.

Howdy When I repaired my 70 Charger grill I used PlastiFix it worked great. Now it took a lot of filing and sanding and painting, spray can, lots of testing to get the colors that I found acceptable. I've asked people to find the repairs no one has so far.
