Did These Come On a 68 B-Body?

Sure did, only on the hurst shifter cars half way through the model year. If you had an inland shifter in your car, there was a reverse lockout on the shifter. When Chrysler switched to the hurst shifter without the reverse lockout, they installed the light to indicate when the car was in reverse.

Thank You. When I Ordered My Reverse Light Harness It Came With Two Violet Wires, Not a Third Wire For The Reverse Light. Was Just Curious If It Was Only For 69-70

Appreciate The Help. Thank You

There are some differences in 68 to early 69 harnesses in how they feed the reverse light of the connectors coming from the bulkhead. One of my cars was manufactured in September of 68 for The 69 year, and the other was manufactured in January of 69 for 69. The January car is different from the September car

So the way it works is the one violet wire usually has a pigtail that jumps power to the light through the bulkhead when the car is put in reverse. My harness was one purple wire and one white with a black tracer which had the pigtail. The wire from the light would plug into an empty slot in the bulkhead on the interior side and then the jumper from the white wire feeds that light so when the car sends power to the reverse lights it also sends power from the jumper into the car to the reverse indicator light on the dash. It utilizes the dash as ground so only one wire comes from it. You could add the jumper yourself if your semi-decent with wiring no problem.

Just Wondering How I Could Go About Wiring The 2 Prongs On The Transmission If All The Empty Ports In The Bulkhead Are Full?

Nvm. Found It. Was Wondering What That Plug Was For On mu Bulkhead Connector

Thank You So Much!
Been a fault of mine for 50 years, helping others! LOL The other little wire I have in my hand is getting plugged into the lower right corner of the bulkhead connector for the back up light on my '69 (built Feb 27th or so), but I believe that doesn't happen on the '68, it gets it's power from the drivers door kick panel connector I believe directly from the wire going to the cars reverse lights.. it's been covered here before! Your other single gray wire coming out of that grommet is your tach pick up wire.

Appreciate The Help! I Was Wondering Where To Plug It In..

Just Gotta Find Stock Looking Connectors To Clean The Wiring Up.

Thank You
