So a while back i picked up aset of eddy RPM heads fully assembled and it has comp pro mag rockers (1.5) and what appears to be factory style ( hollow) rocker shafts.
So im just curious if anyone uses these on thier motors or has most upgraded to the billet shafts?
Comp Xe275Hl 231/237, .525/.525, 110, 10.5cr.
Also how many are still running a single bolt cam vs 3 bolt? Should I change?
Thanks!

all shafts are "hollow". it's the only way the rockers can get oil. comp pro mags come with induction hardened shafts, or used to, so i think your fine if it's a complete kit.

i wouldn't worry about a single bolt with that cam.

I'm using the stock shafts with ductile iron adjustable rockers on my RPMs. I first ran the 557 purple shaft and switched to a Solid roller with 586 lift. No issues in 12,000 miles so far Knock on wood lol.

Thanks fellas, yea I knew all shafts were hollow, I guess my question was more towards the wall thickness/ hardness. and should I upgrade to billet shafts, as I do not truly know of the origins of the Eddy shafts ( i bought it as an assembled unit).
The ones that are on my 906's and the Eddys are different but both look to be made from thinner steel ( Eddys seem a tad heavier) vs a billet shaft. Both of sets have pressed end caps like a stocker. Im not sure how to identify the ones with the comps...they also have stock clamps!!!

This is why this place is so great, theres always someone ready to share their knowledge!
Thanks lewot, txbee, rt, & cranky!

ive had 2 sets of the Pro magnums, the first was an early set, an the second set i have has a different design in the rockers, the newer ones have bushings in them.
i had my rocker shafts treated with WPC for added reliablilty.
