Rubber Shortage?

the price of tires
is 3 times what it was last time I bought my truck tires,
25 years ago :poke:
it's was $678 for 4 Open Country Toyo 32x11.5"/15R Tires w/60k warrantee
still have 1/3rd of the tread too
mounted & balanced at Less Schwab (same place I bought them),
same style of tire, look a lil' different
is $330+ each 'on sale'
& another $75-$100 to dismount old, mount & balance each of the new tires
$1,620-$1,720 before taxes, for 4
& now I need 5 now

a place called www.customoffset.com is the best price I've found
free shipping in the greater 48,
& if you buy wheels, also along with free shipping, free mounting & balancing, stems,
they also give you the proper style lug-nuts & concentric register rings free, if needed too

Try Grainger.

I was highly thinkin of ebay, but grainger could be a possibility too

It might be a rubber TUBE shortage, rather than rubber. Who uses tubes much anymore? (Besides racers a bicyclists)
I use tubes, lol. I’m tryin to find one for my lawn tractor and the one I got now I got from tractor supply back in September, and I need another for it for the other tire. I don’t really think its a tube shortage but I guess it could be, but the employee did not mention tubes he only mentioned “rubber”
