I can't find the most common things around here sometimes. No hydrogen peroxide, no psyllium (please keep comments to yourself), and no 90% alcohol (only watered down 70%).

I have heard the 70% is better - it doesn't evaporate as fast as the higher percentages, so it lasts longer and disinfects better.

I’ve had good luck buying pure isopropyl from my pharmacy. Here, at least, you have to ask for it because they keep it locked up. I can get it in gallon or quart jugs. I use it for cleaning stuff before I paint sometimes.

Can you locate 190 proof everclear? In Maine only on base can you get the 190.. but where you are?? That will get you the stronger stuff. Mix with a little aloe gel and bingo a very strong sanitizer that doesn’t evaporate due to the gel..

Put in some gel into a dispenser, keep adding everclear and shake it til it starts to move freely. I make it all the time!
