Seafoam

I used it to clean the fuel injectors
I was never a fan of what I call snake oil additives. But here is my case.My camper is a Chevy 6.0 ltr.2008 vintage.
At about 3 years old I had the check engine light come on. Scanned it and got a code fuel injectors.
The guy doing the scan is a boat guy and recommended the SeaFoam. The camper doesn't get many miles per year and has thrown the code several times.
I have tried several brands but the SeaFoam seems to work the best. No codes with regular use.

Years ago a friend (RIP) had one of the 80s 8-6-4 Cadillacs. It would hang a code and start running like crap. A couple cans of Seafoam would fix it up.

My 23hp B&S powered zero-turn mower became hard to start. After starting it surged at any RPM. I put a couple of tablespoons of Seafoam in the gas. Within minutes the problem cleared up.

I tried Seafom in my Ram 5.7 after noticing 4 mpg loss highway going by the trip computer. I got a whole 1 mpg back with it.
New plugs made no difference.
I opened the throttle and found the plate backside and throat caked with blow-by buildup. I poured some Seafoam on a rag spent some time de-gunking as much and as far down I could get without pulling it off the engine. It got this pig back to 18 on the highway.
Lol, I guess one can say it worked.
Deceptive as the entry wasn't bad at all.....

I used seafoam for the first time in 2010. My 07 patriot at 70k developed a tick, so a trip to the dealer resulted in a huge estimate to replace all kinds of things. at the time I was having my 67 440 rebuilt at a friends shop, and so I mentioned it to him.
he said try the seafoam, it is only 8 bucks!
so I put a can in the oil and drove 20 miles home.. the tick was gone, and that jeep was still going in 2013 when I sold it, with no engine noise at all. Dealers can suck!
