Seat belt bolts

I stripped the driver's side retractable seat belt bolt on my '72 Satellite trying to remove it. I've gotten the bolt out and would like some opinions on a replacement. I would rather put a grade 8 hex head instead of the torx back in there. Has anyone else swapped these out? Thanks.

Get the correct bolt and buy the torx bit. When it comes to safety devices you don't want to mess around.

If I go the hex route it will be the same shouldered bolt only hex. My real concern is that I cannot locate one as I've had no luck so far. The bolt was mis-threaded from the factory and after the torx stripped out I had to bump it with the air chisel to get it out and re-tap the hole. Any idea where I could locate one? The correct bolt would be my first choice.
