Hey guys does anyone know what kind of seat belt material they used in 1970 bbodies? Was it nylon or cotton or a combination?

Almost certainly nylon. The poly webbing is much thinner. Would not recommend using that at all as it would be a safety issue. The buckle and load bar are engineered to work with the thicker nylon webbing.
