Anyone ever have their daily driver seat foam replaced? Maybe a stupid question but the foam on the side of my Journey's bottom leather seat seems to squash too easy and not properly support my fat ***! It's annoying and bothers my hip for some reason. I've adjusted the angle and lumbar every which way to Sunday but it's like the foam lacks density.
I really noticed the difference lately when I started driving my 2005 Gold TDI 5spd for the commute. The Golf seat is 7 years older than the Journey but the foam is much more supportive. Even my wife's 07 civic EX has much better seats.

Hi,
I have had numerous seats re-done.
My "Bud" has a seat/upholstery shop.

The only issue is: "Some" seats have the springs interwoven within the Foam
That can be pricey to re-do

Getting in and out wore out and deteriorated the foam in my Dakota.

Last month I found a super nice passenger's side foam in a 98 stripper Dak.

It swapped in despite having a slightly different velcro pattern, and a recess for the seat belt retractor.

Feels like a new seat.
