Setting in gas gauge needle

Hi
today my needle fell down on empty during driving. I believe the needle popped out of the springs and now I really wonder how to set them in. I find nothing in the web. Does anyone know how to connect the parts in right order? I tried with tiny needles but as far no success

Do you have any specialist instrument repairers, or clockmakers locally that could take a look at it?

Otherwise, it might be easier to get a replacement gauge in the WTB advert sections here.

Sadly not, here in europe we are lucky to even get bolts and nuts for classic cars

Looks like the pivot needle has fallen down....a tricky little thing to repair unless you have skills with small gauges and instruments.

I don’t know, but it says 65463 2857002

2857002 is the OE Part number if you have a parts book. The repro one I posted should be fine.
