shimmy and shake ,, vibration

Hi guys ,I have 70 gtx 440 ,,,,haven't had her back on the road long ,,,trouble I'm having is a vibration smmying ,,,motor seems to be doing fine ,,,but I can't realy tell ,,but it seems to be getting worst fast ,,,could it be ,tranny tork converter?

Loose wheel or bad u joint. Just a guess. Pretty had to fix that without taking a drive

I didn't explain very well ,,,it shaking sitting still , at a ideal, ,,,,,but it does it driving also ,,,,,not a wheel or u joint ,,,,,it's in the dr8ver train ,,,,,I'm guessing

I'm thinking that there is a misfire in the engine if it has just started recently. There are so many possibilities: bad plug, rotor and cap, wires, water in gas, binding valves etc. You've got your work cut out for yourself because there are numerous causes. I'd inspect the condition of the plugs first and foremost.

Tough to isolate...
Engine mounts
Ignition/timing
Carb tuning
Warped pulleys or bad balancer
Valvetrain issue
Yes also could be the flexplate or coverter
Lastly, engine balance but if it just started and it's getting worse that would be doubtful. You'll have to just start at the beginning, with the easy stuff, and work your way through it. Good luck and please let us know what you find!

Iv been checking ,checked bolts in tork converter, good ,all belts pully good seem to run to good for miss fire but iv checked,,seems good ,,,transmission mount, I can't see much of it ,but rubber looks kinda split ?? I'm thinking this mite be it ?

Put afloor jack under it and see if it separates
Also check motor mounts too
