How's this for a topic? Ya ever try to find new laces in a store for your boots or shoes? Can never find the right length or color I need. Grocery store, Walgreen's, Target...and aha...even a shoe store! Got the ones I can't use and the small racks they have them in are usually picked clean. Restocking must coincide with the cicada's coming out of the ground. And I bought two pair of shoes at an outlet shoe store this week and asked if they had laces...nope! What a P in theee A.

Last time I needed laces, the only ones I could find of the same style and length cost more than the shoes I needed them for!

One of life's little nuisances. Right up there with hotdogs by the dozen, but hotdog buns come 10 to the pack.

I thought some company announced they were fixing the hot dog bun issues! Just very recently might check the old google.

It's a sad commentary to say that shoe laces are now outlasting a pair of shoes!!!! So where's the quality???

And why is it when I run through a loaf of bread there's usually only one slice left?

I thought it was 10 hot dogs and a 6 pack of buns, but whatever?

L.L. Bean store will make custom ones for yiu for less than 10 bucks, if you have one near you.

I can’t remember the last time I needed to buy shoe laces.

Going way back with the same dilemma; I take the old laces off worn out shoes & boots for spares,. It saved me several times!

Like so ? Couldn't find the right white ones, and had saved my work shoe laces. :)

I like/prefer cheap white bread over dried out hotdog buns. Usually much softer/moister.

A Red Wing shoe store should have laces, also places that sell pedorthic products, or ones that specialize in fitting people that have foot problems.
If you ever find a place that actually hand makes footwear, possibly a shoe repair place, but that that seems to be getting harder than winning a lottery.
Glad I can still make my own shoes.

How can you expect to get the correct part without the make, model and year. :)

Ding, ding, ding. We have a weiner! Yes, 10 hot dogs and 8 buns.
The dog to bun ratio was decided years ago.
Lots of guys eat one while grilling and enjoying a cold beer.
Your best buddy sitting there watching you grill gets one.
By the time the foods ready the dog and bun ratio is correct.
