Wanted to give a shout out to Richard Rynkiewicz from PA. I have a 1971 Sebring and the A/C heater box was in less than ideal shape. It was a little warped, a little cracked, painted silver, missing the evaporator, and the heater core leaked.
After some great correspondence, I decided to give my business to Rich. I picked up a 40 gallon tote from Home Depot and packed it with some cheap pillows from Ollie’s (discount store). I then shipped it up to him via UPS.
He said he’d give me a call when he got the box and he did so with a detailed plan of attack to restore the box. The only thing I had to do was order a rebuild kit from DMT and have it shipped to his house. I did so the same day.
Before long, Rich gave me a call and told me it was complete. My wife and I decided to make a trip out of it (didn’t trust UPS/FEDEX/USPS getting it back in one piece) and found some cheap tickets into Newark. We rented a car and drove the short two hours to Rich’s area. We met up the next morning and Rich unpackaged the heater box and he went over everything that he did to it. I was very happy with the service, the communication and the honesty. Overall, Rich is a great guy to work with and I highly suggest him.
If anyone has any questions, please let me know. Attached a picture of the finished work, a business card he gave me, and the box I used to ship it. The reason I put a picture of the shipping box is because it’s almost the perfect size to put a heater box/pillows. Also drilled some holes in the lid and zip tied it shut for extra security.
Again, reach out to Rich if you need anything I think he will do a great job for you. That’s also refreshing to work with somebody that’s honest, has fair pricing, and delivers a quality product.
Thanks Rich. My wife and I enjoyed meeting you!!!!
