The picture is actually so much better looking than it was. Parked outside for +/- 30 years. It’s still needy but just time to finish assembly.

Don’t let this 67 Barracuda car fool ya. I got it in trade for the red 66, the guy who owned it bought it and was hoping to drive it, so he bought a new gas tank for it. Problem was, there was no frame for to mount it. Completely gone front and back. The rear quarters were laid over the original rusty non existent quarters, bondo’d in and the whole car shot with paint to hide it. It ran and drove, but you couldn’t use the floor shifter because there were no floors under the carpet, and the entire interior was collapsing towards the hump, the only part left of the floor. He was so distraught that he wanted to get out to the hobby altogether. I offered a trade for the 66 Formula S, and he was back on the road. I parted the entire car out and made really good money on it, the interior was perfect as was all the trim. I still have the engine, a 67 commando 273. As far as I know, he still has the 66.

Can’t see mine. I CAN’T even see mine.

I had this 67 Satellite for a few years in the 90's. Every piece of sheet metal was rusted, but it was a big block car. I got it running and drivable enough to drive it to a friend's house where I parked it until I stripped and junked it. Technically salvageable but not worth the time and $.

I drove the blue 67 Belvedere daily for a few years while I restored my Satellite. It had been hit front and rear and was repaired with parts off a 66 at some point. It wasn't pretty but it was dependable.

I love the truck project. Although not a rust bucket or wreck I can see alot of time and money has gone into your build. I picked up the brown car for parts for my project. I will be taking what I need and selling the shell. This ol girl is hurtin. I don't want to say it is unrestorable. With deep pockets, the whole amd catalog, and years of effort it could be a car again but it won't be me who takes that on.
You may be surprised.....
Think some outside the proverbial box.
You'd probably be surprised at what it
took to get an 80+ year old shell back
on the road.
I was lucky in that I spent my vocation
and entire working career on the
design of mostly heavy truck and bus.
All told....23 years before the first turn
of the key, and she fired right up.
Don't get in an all fired hurry to see
your visions come to fruicition.
My build was more an experiment.
I'm running an 8-1/4 sure grip behind
a 440. No problems at all so far, and
she ain't been babied, but there's been
a few mods to the diff.
I've been penny wise and pound
foolish thru this whole ordeal.
But she's my first Mopar.
It took a few years for me to see
the light.

I picked up these 2 69 A bodies and the 67 B body about 7 years ago. The rusty 69 in the center houses a very healthy 340 automatic 8 3/4, while the other 69 is a running driving/6 car that's almost rust free. The 67 is a 500 that was being converted to an RT clone, no drive train, but mostly rust free.

This rusty 67 Belvedere is still yielding parts, it's not nearly as complete now after it's sacrifices for others.

Always nasty junk laying around here...but I call them parts cars.
