Hey guys, new to the forum and looking for some help.

I am changing things up on my charger and will be installing a louvered r/t hood, just wondering if anyone is running an RB wedge with a single plane under a stock bulge or r/t hood?

I know a drop base air cleaner is likely required which I have no problem with but I don't want to have to run one of those triangle air cleaners or cut any of the bracing on the original hood.

If I can't fit a decent flowing single plane (380 - 410 cfm range) I guess I will start looking at another dual carb setup as I need to feed 572 cui and large port heads.

Anyone with experience on the subject please share.

indy intake or a victor intake that has been ported out,

Cnc'd Victor max wedge heads, so id really like to use the matching eddy intake but not real positive that it would fit.

it will most likelt fit with a big dropped air pan

On a Super Bee hood which is the same or even a tad lower on the insert part a set of EZ1 Max wedge with a single plane Indy intake will clear with a drop base on a low deck. Gonna be tight on an RB I'd think though?
On a low deck, from the valley tray to the top of the air cleaner lid you have around 12-12.5 inches to play with. So an RB being an 1" taller already you will only have 11-11.5" to play with.
With the drop base you will want to run a K&N extreme lid to help with air flow.
Mach your engine up on the stand with the intake, carb and air cleaner and look at your height. If it's. 11.5" of lower you should be fine.
Good luck.

I have a Torker & AFB on my RR and it clears with a no name chrome air cleaner. Don't think it is a drop base. But I don't the ink my RPM is going to clear.
