Update. I got the carb back from Woodruff Carb Specialties. Dave said that whoever rebuilt it was asleep. It was way too lean. I put it back on today and now that slant 6 purrs like a kitten. So quiet that you can barely tell it's running. At a stop sign in gear it's at 500 rpm. It's a joy to drive again. Thanks all for your inputs.
