so I gotta buy a new set soon and was thinking of the Hoosier quick time biasply 28x11.5x15 and was wondering if you can squeeze that tire in a stock 69 charger wheel well. And what rim offset would be needed. Thanks

Well, in a '70 Road Runner with 15x10 wheels with 4-5/8" backspacing that slick would be very close to the wheel well lip if it wasn't "rolled under" (maybe 1/4"-1/2"). On a related note, you've got hardened axles in there already, right?

Yeah I have a strange 60 with a locker and 4.88s in it. I wonder if 28x10.5x15 is the widest you can go.

I have 325-50-15 DRadial Nitto on 15x10, 5 in back space on my 68 Charger & yes the outer lip is curled up.

Presume stock spring location? I'd guess 10.5" with 8" wheel without lip mods & you need to measure to figure the backspace. 11.5's will probably get tight.

In my Satellite I run a 28x10.5R15 on a 10"rim 5.5"BS . Stock width diff and stock spring location . I can fit a 295/60R15 MT et street radial , but with a 8"rim it is too close to the dogleg for my liking , I tried a 8 1/2"and that pulled it away further .I think a 10"will be perfect plus help the tyre plant
