whats the best and type to use in my 1969 stock 383? thanks
Champion plugs have changed over the years. Your local parts store should have the new listing.Stock specs are Champion J-11Y. Gap .035
Obviously. But that's not the question. You can get RJ-12YC , or any other plug cross-referenced. But, you can still get the originals.Champion plugs have changed over the years. Your local parts store should have the new listing.
New J11Y plugs are not the same heat range as the originals. That changed about 30 years ago.Obviously. But that's not the question. You can get RJ-12YC , or any other plug cross-referenced. But, you can still get the originals.
There's no such thing as new J11Y. These plugs are sold all over.I have plenty myself. You can get P34P if you want. I just answered his question.New J11Y plugs are not the same heat range as the originals. That changed about 30 years ago.
Where are you getting ancient spark plugs?
This is what I'm using. Also have them gapped a bit wider since I'm not running points.Try the NGK XR4 / XR5.
