I just completed a swap in for my newly rebuilt 3:55 sure grip 8 3/4 rear. I had a new HD driveshaft made as the combination U joint didn't work out, the rear yoke on the shaft was worn. I used Mr Drive Shaft who is next door to Wall race track in beautiful New Jersey.
I want to thank the member here who rebuilt my 8 3/4, he told me he'd rather remain anonymous. A great guy who does great work.
Of course im very grateful to all who have helped me through the years.
The rear swap means that literally every part on this car has been restored, rebuilt or replaced with on exception, the center link is the same one as nothing is wrong with it.
Everything is replaced and ive made front suspension and brake upgrades. The motor I reassembled was removed and I had a motor rebuilt by a known shop in Keyport NJ. I made some engine upgrades but they were mild. My dual exhaust from Accurate sound great, like music to my ears.
I also after to much money spent have finally fixed the gas gauge dilemma.
Im doing some interior speaker work and a few other minor things.
Ive also liked. to thank support some good vendors like Herbs, Dr Differential. Dantes , Mancini and Tony D's mopar parts, there are more but I forgot at this time.
Cant wait until spring
