spectra premium heater core , can u say junk!

I picked up a new heater core and its quality is pretty bad, the rows coming out of the tanks are misaligned left to right not to mention it's 1/4 inch short plus its not even close to fitting in my box without heavy modifications, its total crap. It's going back tomorrow and I'll pressure test my old one and use it instead.

Spectra are suppost to be the good ones. I have one but haven't installed it yet.

I used an after market one, had to have local rad guy switch out the bracket, but other than that, it was just fine.

Yupp...GlenRay, best way to go, they re-cored mine and I am very happy with their work.They are 1st class all the way...
