Speedmaster 1.6 rockers

Speaking of experiments, do you think there is any advantage with 1.6's given the mild cam? I don't need to spend extra money on top of the heads if I won't see any gains.
going up 25 thousands lift on a cam is a big deal. lift gives you better bottom end plus better top end really the whole power curve with no down side.

The cheap stainless rockers I've heard of issues w the pin sliding out of the roller.
I would avoid anything made by Speedmaster, not worth it. Never any engineering...only the cheapest copy they can offer.
Looks like the pins are riveted. Not sure how they used to be done. Not sure im going to run these.

I think the cam is so mild that anything you do to increase the velocities at the valves will pay off.
How much? Only one way to know for sure, but I wouldn’t expect miracles.

If you’re buying rockers anyway, the 1.6’s are a free upgrade.

Keep in mind that running 1.6+ rockers on E heads often requires relieving the intake pushrod tunnels.

As a general rule, I try and avoid Chinese valvetrain parts.
