Speedometer Stuck at 120

Hey everyone! The speedometer on my 1974 Charger has the needle flipped over. Has anyone ever had that problem or does anyone know what the problem is? I appreciate any ideas and any help!

Sounds like another pass to 120+ to see if it will trip it and bring it back down.....

That means it's time to click it into high gear

Drive it in reverse. When you get to that speed it will correct itself. Time for a new head or send it out for rebuild.

Never had one stick on 120. I had one go past the 150 once.

My guage only goes to 120. The needle is flipped all the way over.

I suspect the needle return spring is cactus
