Does anyone know if the big block spool type engine mounts are the same for B vs C bodys?

I have a chance at grabbing a pair of spool engine mounts from a wrecked 75 400ci Newport. I'm hoping on reconditioning them with new inserts and replacing the tired ones in my 74 (383 for now) Charger.

If anyone has comparison pix, even better!

Thanx

Bump question

...been running searches and I cant even find a picture of big block spool mounts only small block mounts

Replacement inserts are available 'A2369' and are common for both 74B & 75C body. I'll pull the mounts from the pull apart tomorrow anyway and post pix once I clean em up a bit.

Gd'day Kernal- why not just rebuild yours- I mean your going to have to pull the engine to get at them anyways -just makes me worry -why risk it

Actually I'm going to be prepping another engine to drop in and I figured I'd pick them up, freshen em up for a quick and easy drop in when the time comes.

I picked them up yesterday as they were pretty cheap.

I ran the numbers stamped on em and found that these are the same spool mounts used on big blocks for all cars with v8 spool k members... Cool

LOL Ok will do this weekend... I would have sooner but my puter completely died and had to get another. Luckily I did make a backup but unfortunately a month and a half before this so I lost the last month or so of work, info and my family pictures 8(
(I'm still somewhat hopefull I can recover the info on my old hard drive)

Oh a warning! My cars are no trailer queens nor are they restored... they are just being fixed for personal enjoyment purposes, so please dont be to critical as they WILL have bondo and wont have great paint, but they WILL be safe.

Well said-I dont think any car should be a trailer queen-they were meant to drive!

Here you are, I hadnt even gotten the louvers back onto the car yet as I was chasing down a leak! lol Actually nor the interior or window/door seals yet! lol
I had just finished welding in fabbed up 3x2" square frame connectors and floors and replacing the crappy rubber Kmember iso bushings with solids (that was fun after the head broke off one of the bolts!!!!! I was lucky to get it out)

Some other info: It did look good when I got her 12 years ago but the po did not do a great job on the body work and paint so it deteriorated quickly and I really couldnt stop it (paint oxydizing and some bondo spots not done right)

I drove her for 7 years then took it off the road for some much needed repairs and one thing lead to another and a divourse in between kept me from having the time and $ to git-r-dun. Been pluging away at it for a few years but this year I had made some good progress considering no garage or anything.

.....anyway.....

WAY more work to be done too

Oh the Dart has been my summer daily driver (my winter is a caravan lol) Not bad for a $250 car but you should see the before pix! lol
