Anyone got a square back alternator in running condition they want to part with?

Team,

Yes but with shipping is it worth your time over a reman? Do you need a specific year?

Well 1967 would be awesome
Square back style alternators weren’t used in 1967. They were first installed beginning with the 1972 model year.

The factory correct alternator for 1967 model would be the round style.

Advance core charge is only $10, so about $50-55 with discount code, warranty, and free shipping.

Agree- round.

I’m wondering if tough stuff or power master are worth it?

Maybe, but you will need to upgrade your wiring to go to a 95 amp alt. You need to at least run an 8 gauge wire from the alt output to the starter relay with a fusable link in it. Keep in mind 99% of round back alts have low output at idle, squareback are a little better, denso swap is way better at idle. The last advance/carquest I got was claiming 60 amps, but not at idle.
