Along with my Mopar sunroof research, I would like to start a Registry for 1973-74 Plymouth B body owners. Over the past several years, member Eric over at the roadrunnernest.com website has built a database of over a thousand 71-72 B bodies, but I don't think anyone has done the same with the 73-74 group. Its time someone started, and I am volunteering. Owner info and location details will not be posted online or shared with anyone else, unless I get prior permission from you. Once I have several cars in the database, I will start a page here and over on the RRNest website that posts some of the stats on these cars. Example:

1973 B-Body color breakdown:
3 of 29 cars are GY8
4 of 29 cars are GB7
2 of 29 cars are FE5
etc.

Engine breakdown:
18 of 29 cars came with the 318
6 of 29 cars came with the 340
3 of 29 cars came with the 400
2 of 29 cars came with the 440
etc.

When we get a decent sample size of cars in the database, we should be able to see just how popular or rare some of the options and colors are with these cars. If you would like to participate, just send me a PM here or on the thread over on the RRNest site.

If there is enough interest, I could be talked into hosting an actual website for these cars - similar to my Mopar Sunroof Registry website - we will see...........

Scott.

I think that's a great idea but my loyalty is to FBBO. I own a 73 Sebring Plus and have found an abundance of information as well as a really really good group of people here! Plus there are specific areas you can go to on FBBO to find out information. Why not start collecting this information on a thread here. Good luck in your quest.

Yeah, I was trying to avoid keeping up the stats on both pages, but I will bite the bullet and update my statement above. Hopefully there is enough interest so the separate dedicated registry website becomes a reality someday.

I'm in.

I wish I could rate the OP- "thanks", "like", and "agree".

I think we will find that there are a LOT of 73 owners out there who've constantly been told that their cars are "undesirable', when that is elitist BS.

1973 was the high production year for Chargers, and a banner sales year for the RR.

These cars are 100% Mopar, with all the associated benefits, quirks and idiosyncrasies.

It's about time they are celebrated as such.

Dilly, dilly!

...and to PoB- a "registry" site is different than a general BB/forum site.

The registry will have statistical data and a detailed sampling of the subjects represented.

No skin in the registry, but kinda like “superbeeregistry”.com..

Great that you're stepping up to do this Scott. For anyone who hasn't been involved with a registry, it takes a lot of work and you donate a lot of time helping people with facts and figures, consulting on what is and isn't correct, sorting data, etc.

74 roadrunner ready for blasting 400 automatic, cruise control and air conditioning I naught new traded it off after three years and 10000 miles found it again 16 years later after 3 other owners, one picture is after blasting getting full restoration

That's correct. I'm Eric over on the roadrunner nest, and I've had a registry/database going for many years now, however I do not have a dedicated website.

Hey Tori,
I don't think there is any 71-72 registry online, but there is a member "Eric" over on the Road Runner Nest website that has a very good data base on 71-72 cars.
