I would like a tilt steering column for my 66 cornet I'm told that GM made them for ford and chry.but I don't know if this is so.and I'm sure finding one out of a cornet will be impossible.SO I guess one out of a 60s model chry.will work.???? any help with this would be great..thanks Artie I don;t beleve im even thinking of puting a gm part on my car:(:(

Tilt wheels were a C and D body option only in 66. The cost of modifying one for a B body is probably not worth the effort and dollars to do. There are several different aftermarket companies like Ididit that make new tilt columns that are a direct drop in and that would be my choice. I believe they also offer cruise control with them which might be something else you would be interested in for your car.
