I had pulled my box last yr and had it rebuilt. when i swapped engines I put the box back in... low and behold shop had set input shaft preload to tight and it wouldn't center... I tried everything from alignment to all new front steering components... nothing fixed it.. I wanted a borgeson box, but wasn't in my budget so I was looking at FF and was not in budget as well. I went the route of Parts store for replacement and first box ordered looked nothing like mine and had an internal pressure valve... I finally found one at Oreilly's that was the same and it was only $120 with my employers discount... I have crappy cheap long tube headers the cylinder one tube ran right in the way of easily removing the box yet again. I had to remove power steering pump, battery, battery tray unbolt the header, motor mount and jack engine up and still pry it out... it was took me 3 days to swap this out as i couldn't get it out.. fought an fought... I finally got new box in and hooked all up and went for a drive and man it didn't seem right.. I thought I had gotten another bad box.. I jacked the front of the car up and when I cranked it it slightly moved so I loosened the pressure valve on top and tapped it till the wheel stopped moving either direction on its on... tightened it back up and went for a drive.... ITS FIXED NOW!!!!!... only thing left is I have the pitman arm off one master spline as there is 4 and steering wheel isn't straight, but I can drive my car and that's just success to me... I still want a Borgeson box, but that's gonna be in the distant future....
