steering wheel horn doesn't work-65 b body

I have a 65 Satellite that I bought last year and the horn on the steering wheel doesn't work. The owner that I bought it from said that it quit working and he fixed it by installing a button under the dash between the column and door. You can blow the horn by pushing this button. This is Micky Mouse. Does anyone know what might be the problem or how to ix it so I can get the horn to blow from the steering wheel? Thanks in advance!:blob1:

when i got my car, the horn worked intermittently i took it apart and cleaned all the mating surfaces. there was rust and corrosion all over the internal workings. after that, it works perfectly. youll have to see what he did to make that button work and reverse it and make it work how its supposed to. very easy job!.

Make sure steering column has a good ground. Ron
