Steve Juliano passed away ?

He was an avid collector of Mopar memorabilia, his collection and displays are awesome. A Mopar man true and true.

I recognize the name, don't know the man...

My deepest & heartfelt condolences,
goes out to his family & friends

RIP Steve

It's so sad to read this. Steven elevated the hobby to new heights and saved many of the RTS cars from obscurity. I never knew what "lunch pail" parts were until I read about one of his restorations in Mopar Action 20+ years ago. We emailed each other back and forth a few times, and although we never met in person that didn't stop him from inviting me to check out his warehouse if I was ever in the area.

My heartfelt condolences to his family

News is sketchy buy it appears that noted Mopar enthusiast Steve Juliano has passed away. I've seen no widespread articles on this and it appears that his family has requested that his passing be kept quiet.

The above link goes nowhere. How can one family have the power to censor like this? I find this sort of strange.

I can certainly understand this, considering the feeding frenzy that is likely coming over his collection. I hope that the family retains it - or at least ensures that it remains intact and complete - not scattered around the world. His passion for the hobby was instrumental in elevating the level of detail and accuracy within it.
Godspeed, Steve.

I never knew him. but have seen everything he has done for this hobby & his collection is amazing. As mentioned above I never knew or heard of the lunch pail parts but have since discover several of myself of many fathers & grandfathers who all worked on the assembly lines back then. My co-worked has a whole 5 gallon bucket full of Dodge, Plymouth, Super bee, R/T, Charger, Challenger etc emblems that I cannot talk him out of selling (yet).

Just saw this thread.

I knew Steve personally since the mid 80's. He was at the forefront of Mopar memorabilia collecting! He'd do a car correctly, just like the factory built it, with the afore mentioned "lunch box" parts, rather than the NOS in the box stuff.

I will miss my friend.
