Still a metal sleeve to be removed?

All, am I crazy or is there another metal sleeve I still need to remove. The one with the gap is off a 68, the other is off a 70. I don't want to damage them, but that outer "sleeve", if it is a sleeve, seems to line up with the inner metal sleeve on my new bushings.

Just want to confirm before I remove it or try.

You have to remove it if your installing a stock style rubber bushing.
 
A couple minutes with a hammer on it stretches the sleeve and it will fall right off.
No need to get overly creative with grinders, files, drills or anything else. One hammer and an anvil to rest the shaft on is all you need.

khryslerkid just showed you the best way to do this job. Set them between vice jaws, whack a line down them with a cold chisel - two or thre lines won't hurt. This expands the metal. They should slide right off.​

 
I've used all the methods mentioned here. The hammer method in post #9 is the fastest and easiest with no chance of damage.

ALL, thanks for your advice and pics! I wasn't 100% sure there was still a sleeve on it when I posted, so so thankful to hear from people who have done it a time or two (or 10). I tried the simple hammer method; however, I wound up etching a couple of grooves down the sides of the sleeve with a 2" cutoff wheel, then whacking with the hammer. They came off with no issues. I didn't come close to the pin. No need to be aggressive with the groove, a quarter or half way through is plenty and doesn't have to go all the way to the end - just help it stretch a bit.
