Not a Mopar guy but looking to become one someday. Been scanning CL for a couple years now for a 68 Charger.

Found another one on CL that requires some opinions: https://buffalo.craigslist.org/cto/d/1968-dodge-charger/6591065518.html

I've asked for a pic of the fender tag, but looking at the pictures I'm not seeing $15k there?

This is just a plain Jane Charger that would have come with a 383?

Its a 68 Charger. It will sell at or near that price.
Wait a little longer. They might go higher.

The 2nd gen Charger market is pretty inflated right now.

How about a 1969?

He says that he has that "ultra rare" 383 six pack motor. LOL Sad part is, he will get $15,000 for that.

well it's not a rusty pile of junk(from the pics anyway) so 15k is probably the best you can do these days, unless you get real lucky...68-70 charger prices have become ridiculous...(the 68 is my favorite too!) If that's what your heart is set on be prepared to pay a premium

And I paid $16,000 for this: All #'s matching. That's what I find to be crazy.

That Charger needs like $30k worth of work/parts, then you have more into it that it's worth...

Well it doesn't matter, just got home from work, contacted the seller, just sold it today.

2nd gen Chargers are like gold but will it last.. As boomers age I haven't seen too many young people who would pay a fortune for one. We shall see.. I'm banking on them going down by the time I'm 68 or whatever the retirement age is by then. Ha ha I'll scrape the paint off the chrome bumpers some millennial did when grandpa croaked .. That's 18 yrs we shall see if I don't croak ..If not, maybe I'll find a used hellcat or used demon for 15k ha ha ha
