Have a couple of motors here and wondering about suggestions on how best to store for a year or so. Thanks
If it works it worksI left my 440 set for 18 years in a unheated garage at my Michigan home and it rolled over fine so I started and ran it. It turned a 12.68 in my wagon so the rings must have survived. Now it sits with a plastic bag over it waiting as my spare engine. I did use it one summer while my 493 was getting lifter bore bushings 5years ago. I did absolutely no storage prep ever. Not technically correct-but.

Gracias my friend. What I didn't see in the video is that he do not pour diesel or penetrating oil on the cilynder to protect the piston rings from rust and getting stuck
