Hello all. I just started dabbling in the world of vintage sun tachs. I have a sst-709 with the eb-9a transmitter box. I modified it with a voltage regulator to run 2.7 volts exactly so you no longer need the mercury batteries. My question is why is my needle pegged at 9k? Is my meter movement bad or am I doing something wrong?
