Yakking with my oldest. He says it tastes like a 'thin' glass of apricot juice. Opinions? He's had it in the Carolinas, says W.Va doesn't do it as good.

Had a few glasses of it. I'm sure it's great if your used to it.
Just me but I prefer my coffee black and tea with no sugar.

Raised on sweet tea. Stopped drinking it in 1980.

For me, kinda depends on HOW sweet. I can do tea with or without, as long as it's not too, TOO sweet!
I’m trying to cut down on sweets, so tea is out. If I was in a restaurant, I used to order half and half.

From up north, not raised on it, but Luizanne with an extra bag and a big spoon of honey is how I roll.
Add E&J or Korbel for a good time.

Turkey Hill sweet tea, unless having a Yuengling Lager or Black & Tan beer (Pottville PA's finest) for me!!

Shoot, there's a restaurant here that makes their sweet tea strong enough that it sends your heart straight into palpitations on the the first sip. I like sweet tea, but I have to cut it so it's not so strong. If I'm serving myself, and the place has unsweet and sweet, I'll usually mix it 50/50.

Apricot? :screwy:

Drinking some right now, but it's the "Arizona" brand sweet tea, out of the plastic gallon container.

Sweet tea is like Coca-Cola in the south. EVERYONE drinks it. I tried it at a Carolina "country kitchen". So sweet that it made my teeth hurt.

Way too sweet for me, I like tea but not syrup. Every get together we have at work HR assumes every one wants sweet tea and no other choices.

I like mixing mine half and half, my wife's grandads sweet tea was like syrup!

Sweet tea is the default beverage here in restaurants, at homes, etc.

It has been determined that I'm the only one BORN HERE IN TN who doesn't drink sweet tea in this region.
It's like I'm a traitor or something... :)

Never had sweet tee as good as Mom use to make way back when I was a kid. She'd make sun tee with Lipton pouches in a big pickle jar. Add sugar after it was out all day & put it in a Tupperware pitcher, served over big ice cubes outa the tray. I was given milk when dinner was served but often would finish Dads tea. Nothing compares to my memory of what iced sweet tee tastes like. It will probably never be duplicated but it was superb!
