Switched source isn't good enough for EFI? Lol

Yes i use the button now until i find an automatic solution i love my electronics & Mopar's ,I am semi retired so i have a lot of spare time .

From Holley.
We have found the issue, and that would be interference. Check this data log out. This is probably the worst log I have seen. Please move that pink wire off the ignition coil circuit, that would be the first thing to isolate.

I had my pink wire to the brown and blue side of my bypassed ballast. Now I have interference.

Could add a relay, to the brown/blue wire, to trigger the pink?
Please let me know if I’m wrong.
30 12v
85 ground
86 brown/blue?
87 pink?

Would it eliminate the interference?
Would I need to shield the wire going to the Blue/Brown to the relay?

OP stated he swapped to a coil that does not require resistor, an efi coil.

I'm confused, my apologies.

Imo, efi should have electronic ignition, aka no ballast resistor.

Even better, timing control.

Some don't make the (rather pricey) change to electronic ignition. I did because I was chasing an issue that continues to persist, no matter what I do.
I'm now convinced I have a mechanical problem so may just tear down the engine if I see nothing in any of the cylinders, with my scope. I'm out of ideas.
That being said, I love the EFI + electronic ignition. Controlling air/fuel/spark with a laptop is my comfort zone.
The BEST part, though, is walking up to the car, reaching in with one hand, and starting the car right up. No pumping the gas pedal, no flooding - no drama.
