Hi,

I seem to have a missing spring with the Charger 1971 console shift, TF727. See attached pictures
- What is the purpose of this one (stabilizing, adding some resistance when shifting/moving the T-handle)? Anyone know the part number and where to get one?

I have worked full winter with new electrical harnesses, dash meters, insulation, new headliner, heater box repair/repaired core.. and now starting to have it finally back together. I got a new (re-pro) T-handle since the old one was broken. Let's see how it works.
- What is today a good, nice looking alternative for the T-handle, eg pistol grip, and from where to get it? I wish to keep the original center console but ready to ditch the re-pro T-handle if it break,
get stuck and becomes difficult with me

Thanks!

Mathias

Found it and ordred/on the way, it was just "slap stick shifter spring", front of console. I did just search in too complicated way, wrong words
