Anyone know of an experience, reliable source that can rebuild a (1964) TF727pushbutton , within 20-50 miles of Rhode Island ?

Key words: Experience, reliable.

Thank you.

wish i could help you, but I know of no one within 20-50 miles of RI who does this "reliably". You can ship a transmission to CRT or A&A for about $100 via UPS Freight. Talk to them, they could even do a pick up with a transmission case to get your trans built properly.

C'mon, there has to be someone in R.I. that has torqueflite experience. They are not that hard.

They are not much different to rebuild from the later 727s, just make sure to get the rear pump installed right. If I recall there is a ball bearing between the shaft and pump.
