"The Day After" Movie Is Free On YouTube.

You may remember it from 1983. It was a TV miniseries about nuclear war. It centers around Lawrence, Kansas of which I am a proud Jayhawk alumnus. The military stuff looks very real. You can tell those people are not actors.

At the time the network showing it, set up centers for people that were too stressed out or upset by the movie. It has some 80's hokiness but it stands up well.

I remember it - and how some people freaked over it.
In those days, lefty Hollywood was busy trying to scare people to death about
President Reagan and how he was going to get us into a nuclear war.
Ain't nothing much changes under the sun....same old games still being played, just
different players.

I have been looking for this movie for a long time. I remember seeing it many years ago, but haven't been able to find it since. It is a much darker version of "The Day After".
