I sold this beauty in 2006. I bought it from my uncle in 1993. I have tried, and failed to buy back this car twice. The current owner is a super nice guy, and he has too much emotional attachment to the car. It traveled south to Kentucky, and it has been back in the upper midwest (90 minutes from me) for about 5 years. It is an original F6 car. Sigh…
First photo is when I owned it. Second is current…

If I remember correctly, Super Bee should not have lower bright sill molding. That is an R/T thing.

I have to say.....if you had sold it to me, you wouldnt be getting it back. Nice car for sure.

I could tell plenty of stories of cars that I've sold that I wish I could get back, and I'm sure that most everyone here can too.

I still mourn Jessica - my 69 Charger. The guy who bought her in '93 still has her, and like your buyer, will not sell her back to me. The dumbest thing I EVER did!

I was young and poor
Man weren't we all...

In the 50+ years of doing this stuff, I could write a book.
The dumbest thing I EVER did!
Only one car I hated that I was glad to get rid of. The rest of them yes,I could kick myself. You just can't keep them all.Though we sure would like to.

The original owner of my GTX spared me this agony when he refused to sell me the car in 1983, and told me to buy Baby Blue instead. He wisely assessed my life situation at the time, and knew the car would not have stayed in my hands long term. Instead, he sold the car to a guy my age, who was a regional manager for a local department store chain, and already had a car collection, no wife or kids. That guy kept the car for 12 years, then sold it to a pair of brothers, also with no wives or kids, who restored it, and kept it for 28 years.

I kept Baby Blue for eight years, traded up to a nicer GTX, then sold all my Mopars in 2000, when my corporate gig went south. I got back on my feet with a vengeance when I started working for myself. Got Baby Blue back, and then, nine years later, nailed the GTX that started it all.

For me, that car eclipsed every one that I parted with previously. So I guess I'm a freak. I'm in a place where I'm not wishing to get the others back, although I loved owning every one of them.
