Sweet !!

congrats

Honey I need to borrow the keys....LOL

Congrats!

I picked up a 2012 Durango Citadel w/ the 5.7 a few months ago and really, really like it. Much more than I thought I would. I had always had smaller, 'sportier' cars, but with my kids getting bigger and hauling their friends around, it made sense to find something bigger and this was the only thing besides a full-size GM that ticked all the boxes.

I was really expecting to have compromise on the ride and handling but it is surprisingly nimble for 5000 lbs. You get a ton of car for the money.

Looks great. I am starting to look at the Dodge Journey for my wife....she's liking the idea also.

The one I was looking at was a Dodge Journey SXT 2012

I had a 2003 Durango and then a 2007 Durango (first and second generation) and was looking at the third generation Durango but decided on a Jeep SRT because of the 6.4 liter Hemi.

momma's dd is a '12 journey sxt.
great vehicle, comfortable on long hauls. 26+ mpg highways

we were happy with ours, never had an issue with 60k miles we put on it, except for the front rotors. they would start warping after about 20k. that kinda sucked but it was a good car.

That is exactly the type of feedback I have been hoping for....thanks. Am going to visit a local dealer and check a few out today.

I hope Dodge decides to put the 6.4 Hemi in the Durango and maybe make a version of the Hellcat like the Jeep.
