Thermostat

I have a 70 GTX 440+6 four speed car. What size thermostat would have come stock and what does everyone recommend?

I recommend a 180.

I would recommend a 180 as well. I believe the 6 pack cars came with 195's when new.

180 here as well. I "thought" 180 was original ??? I've "read" don't go cooler (like a 160)

Somebody on moparts years ago posted a tuning guide and he stated a key element is to run the 195 due to fuel not atomizing well in the six pack intake. I believe that guide is in the tech archives on there.
