Hey guys, This has been bugging me since day one. The finish screw on the quarter panel extension looks too crude to be factory. Both of my extensions have them and i removed one extension for painting after it got scratched during delivery.

There appears to be no evidence of a molded in stud being there like the rest of the part and the hole looks very professional...still bugs me though.

Any comments? Some dude told me that's a Lynch Road thing, and it's a Sep. 68 build date Lynch Road car, but still. Really?

I've looked at lots of Chargers and Coronets and hever never seen my arrangement on any of them. I suspect they may have gotten damaged and repaired to this extent. I just dont think it looks good or correct.

looks like someone broke off the stud and then you got screwed when they repaired it wrong.

nope that is not original some at one point put that screw in there to hold it place

I have to agree with everyone else. Not factory.

The studs on the end caps break off every easily when you try to remove them.

Well, that settles it then. Now to find and restore a pair to replace these bogus ones. Thanks guys!
