This may bring a tear to your eyes!

Thank You! I see my Uncle. Battle of the Bulge, tank Commander. and Survivor.

The young Sergeant most likely just spent 22 to 28 hours flying from a combat zone. I been there and done that. Uniform appeareance is hard if not impossible to maintain after such an exhausting journey. When my Soldier came back from Afgan on mid-tour she had the just traveled hard look and the old 1SG (me) had no problem with it.

Sorry but the young dog should have a little more respect for his uniform.
Nice idea.....again..... but it doesn't do much for me.
Semper Fi!

Now this is where we should be saying, thanks for sharing. Great job on finding this video!

Reminds me of my dad....... HONOR flight later this week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry Paladin, with all due respect.
I see it as another tear jerking attempt to make money for a grocery store. That's all. The uniform comment was simply a low level jab at the other branches from a Marine. I would think you should know that you just wouldn't be dumped on your family from a hump half way across the planet to show up looking like a dirt bag (maybe you don't). I have been there too.

The old man had a high level of dignity. I don't think the Pup did. Maybe it's how the Army trains them these days. Maybe it's just the difference between the Corps and the Army. It's the concept I'm bashing. Just my take on a cheap marketing video. Let me know if I need to bring any of you boys a box of tissues.

We have bigger fish to fry in ISIS rather than getting all teary eyed over a grocery store add. Maybe this lends itself to the current sorry state of the nation. Patting ourselves on the back about the past and not looking forward will hurt us all.

Just my HFO. Sorry for the rant about a SFV.
