Hello. Did a search, didn't see another topic on this so I thought I'd trow this out there and see what sticks.

I just received an OEM Tic_toc Tach this week-end and I'm looking to upgrade the tach circuit board myself. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience/guidance/words of wisdom in this matter? Looking to use one of these boards:

While I have the gauge disassembled, I will also investigate the non-function of the clock. I'm thinking some simple contact cleaner/lubricant to start. Anyone have any other ideas?

Thank you everyone for your help!

I purchased one for my square tach on my GTX. They were good to deal with and fast shipping. I have not put it in yet but it is a professional and quality looking electronic board.

Awesome. Let me know how you do.

Hi Lionized, the contact cleaner/lube worked on my clock. Fortunately I didn't have burned contact points. You can test the operation with a simple 9 volt radio battery. Read this for more tips:

Excellent! Thanks Photon.

Mr.heater box out of Canada. They sell modern circuit boards for these tachs and also service them. Check his website and or YouTube for how to videos.

Been researching getting the cluster restored and he's probably my first option (being in Canada helps). Didn't know about the youtube vids. Thanks for the heads up!

I got a board for my tach from him. Easy to deal with and very knowledgeable and helpful.
