Tiger Woods car crash

I did it for the love of the game
that fact I went to work doing "something around golf"
was a bonus, I made very little $$$ off golf
it was my second/third career,
Facility Management/Construction for a dealership group
was my income
Pro-shop was more burden than income
not a huge profit margin in a lil' pro-shop or on mini tours
you're lucky if you break even, get your entrance fee back
it's all about the game, love of the game, not $$$$
Agree totally, it’s an obsession, my goal it to break 70 into the 60s, been at 70 maybe fifty times, just can’t get over the hump.

And no matter how good at golf a man might be.....never wave to the crowds when you are getting off an airplane.

Jack Newton learned that lesson the hard way.

I was intrigued, so I googled his story. Pretty interesting. His accident certainly didn’t seem to hold him back.

He's talking about the tail rotor.

I've been on my share of planes and It's great, but one thing, when I say pull over, I mean now!!!

Genesis Ute too new to have a crash rating. That why they gave it to the Tiger. Confirmed 5 Star.

Have some great memories going to local pro tournaments encountering a few friendly pro’s years ago. One time a ball landed a few yards from me as I was between fairways and up walks Fuzzy Zoeller. His ball was in a tough spot near a huge tree; he was smoking a grit and drops it to the ground eying up what he needs to do then asks me if I want to hit the shot for him with a grin on his face.

Another time several people were around a tee as the pro’s were waiting to hit and someone coughed, not a problem as none of the group were ready to hit anyway. But Lee Trevino walks over to me with a cup of water asking if I need it. I wasn’t the one who coughed; but took the water anyway thanking him.

A sad recollection about the ever jokester Fuzzy, was when he made a comment about what Tiger might select for the dinner menu after winning a Masters. Well oly chit, did he get his *** whacked over this! He lost his major sponsors over this. And he and Tiger were pretty friendly; but Tiger didn’t do a whole lot to quell the media hoopla. Fuzzy was never the same after this.

Well some pro’s are introverted while others are the opposite; this is just the way they are though some of these guys brought personality to the game – was a sad day when Payne Stewart lost his life in a plane after what was likely the pinnacle of his career.

Character, should’ve had chicken, shoe fits wear it

That fiasco was some 15-20 years ago getting our early glimpses I reckon of how touchy this sort a crap is. Fuzzy was tanked over being just a comical guy without an evil bone in his body. So ya say what the menu might be as we know folks from various backgrounds have their known favorites. If Tiger was Italian, would saying he’d be inclined to order up spaghetti be a racist jab? **** no. Tiger DID say it was just joking around and apparently didn’t take any offense with it. My beef with this was when Fuzzy got totally trashed to the extent of ruining his career, more could have been said to back off and find something else to rag about. This crap is ridiculous…

Agree totally, can you imagine today the noise it would make
