I have one on my 72 charger. Not sure if they came in 71 but it would fit.

What year is your b body? tilt wheel options were common after 74. For starters recommend purchasing a spare 71-72 column. The 71/72 center shaft is shorter , consider modifying a Cordoba shaft. Maybe able to use later year wiring harness, but worst case you maybe able to use your original hardness.

The other option is to locate a early C body steering column. tilt wheel was a common item on the 70-72 new yorker.

the only one in a 71 i have ever saw was in a
71 charger se 383 auto column tilt w cruise control.
so they are out there,but extremely rare/hard to find.

It is a GM column supplied to Chrysler. It has a wire harness pigtail to go from GM ignition switch to mopar at dash harness.
