Time for a show lets see the 71-74's

I have read a couple of magazine articles featuring a 1971 early build Charger that was built with the 1970 'GO wing' instead of the gull wing, perhaps the proper wing wasn't immediately available in the assembly plants.

I've been told people use the Go wing because it's cheaper.

My early build 71 Super Bee had a factory 70 go-wing and 70 console. Pic from the day we pushed it out of the original owners garage where it sat since 76.

I've never seen a pre-71 console in a 71 car.

Did the stick "slap"?

70 console had the seat belt buckle holder used on 70 E-Bodies and not an ash tray.

That explains it.

I assumed a B body console.

Is that the executive loaded 71 Bee I almost bought for 15K a few years ago?

Hidden lights, PW, H41, N96, cloth upholstery?

Definitely factory? I can see a couple modifications, i.e. the rims/tires and jacked up ride height. Was the Dodge sticker factory?

Could be, it is an executive car. It is in Florida now. I sold it in 2010. I would like to get it back but the price keeps gong up.

Wing and console are factory, rest is day 2 stuff. Had a 440 6-pack in it too at the time.

Cragars, headers, etc.

About the green one, that is surely not the right mounting position for the wing. And it's the wrong wing, but the reason why I was wanting to see the factory bee stripe option on the tail (if there was one) is because I'd like to see how Dodge solved the problem of the side marker lamps not lining up with the correct location of the wing.

It looks like the bee stripe was going to be huge, but still, it might not come back far enough to reach the rear of the wing mount. It would look funny with the wing mounts half in the stripe, half out.

It was a sunny day here in Washington State today very rare in February. I took her out for a drive, I opened her up on freeway for awhile. This car drives so nice since I re-did the suspension a few years back.

Nice.

I've always thought that body with the SE roof looks great in silver with black.

Going to try to spring this one from the grip of time. And, I just found this 72 parts car for it yesterday.
