Anyone ever heard of this brand of gas before?
This was the view of Denali from the hotel we stayed at yesterday....
From what we were told, the summit of the mountain is in the clouds most of the time and only about 30 percent of the guests get to see it like this.

Tesoro has one of the largest refineries up here in the PNW in Anacortes, WA.
A lot of the Bakken crude from the Dakotas is processed there.

Submit and I are on our final leg today in a couple hours with a bus trip up to Fairbanks and we will be home Thursday evening. These past two days, our temps have been in the mid 40s, cloudy & raw. Peak foliage is happening now. I checked in with my office yesterday morning & back home it was about 70 rain.
The sun comes up here around 7:30 & sets around 8:10, so the long days of sunlight are over.
The hotel we have been in for the past two days. Nice backdrop!

I'm back playing catch-up at the office today & yes, the scenery in Alaska is absolutely AMAZING! These few pictures I've posted just don't capture the natural scenic beauty that your two eyes see. We've been talking about taking this trip for 5 years and we booked it a little over a year ago. Everyone I've talked to who have done this trip raves about it and I too cannot say enough about it. Unfortunately, Submit caught a nasty head cold on our last day at sea & now I've got it. 
Why would you go to the office on a Friday?
Can't stay away huh....
Too bad while you were away we had the nicest weather of the summer, and maybe one more week?
